Many communities are protesting over the George Floyds's death yesterday which was a shame.
Been listing to the scanner from Saint Paul MN police on my cell phone. People are breaking windows and ransacking stores in Saint Paul.
Police are now deploying gas and triple chase tear gas against the crowds and looters.
Stores hit so far, Foot locker, TJ Max, Verizon, Pawn shop, liquor store. Over 100 people reported in the Verizon store. Now a bunch of people are hitting the Walgreens store.
Police have secured the local Target store.

Because the best and proper way to "protest" bad police officers is to loot and burn the businesses of people who had nothing to do with it.

This makes me so mad... it really does. And the Democrats never want to say anything about it. The only Democrat... ONLY Democrat that I remember seeing do anything about this, was Elijah Cummings when they were rioting in Baltimore. Respect for that, but he's still a moron and voted for all the things that have led to Baltimore being a shithole when he was still alive.

If you lose social control, nothing else in the community matters.
Not me... I'd take the insurance money and start a new business somewhere else... somewhere that actually cares.
What we have learned this month: 1) Peaceable assembly on public property is called "storming" (Lansing, MI) 2) Theft and destruction of private property is called "protesting" (St Paul, MN)

WHERE are the Minneapolis / St Paul mayor and the Minnesota Governor on this?
On TV I watched a Minneapolis Target store get looted yesterday with ZERO police intervention until the media said that the store was now EMPTY.
I then watched last night as the Minneapolis Auto Zone store near that Target store was set ablaze and allowed to become a full conflagration , again with ZERO police intervention. Today it was burnt to the ground and still smoldering.
And for good measure the nearby Dollar Tree was also completely looted with ZERO police intervention.
THEN a couple of nearby apartment houses were set on fire.

Did these guys take the bus there? Did they walk? I have to assume they live around there...
Why would you want your neighborhood to look like **** ? Certainly they don't think the neighborhood is going to now get better?
By the way, the Minneapolis Police Dept. 3rd Precinct actually EVACUATED their headquarters building Thursday evening and rioters promptly broke through barricades and into the building.
I haven't seen reports that it has been looted or is on fire.....yet.

and that didn't take long....and was 100% predictable.
Well people tried peaceful protests against police brutality by kneeling during the national anthem and you see how well that worked. Gotta turn the crank at some point.

Are you going to run away again when someone challenges you to a debate?

Again this is about context Burning and looting? Theft and destroying the evidence.
They are just taking advantage and this will not do anything to help the problem.

Slicknick represents the left. He advocates violence and other criminal activity and when he cannot support his position, dismisses his opponents with childish name calling.
Do you really think you're so important that anyone would bother to try to figure out who you are? We've already established it was a misunderstanding of mine based off of your horrible grasp of grammar. The thing is, I can't tell if you *actually* believe I tried to figure out who you are (why???) or if you're trying to use that as an excuse so you don't have to answer my difficult questions. But let's not waste this response, shall we?
Can you answer me a few questions?
1 - Are you aware that the Governor of Minnesota is a Socialist Democrat? 2 - Are you aware that the Socialist Governor was the one who activated the National Guard? 3 - Where is the Democrat Mayor Melvin Carter? Did you know that Melvin Carter, a black Democrat, also requested the National Guard? 4 - Why do these riots and looting *ONLY* happen in Democrat-run cities and states?
#4 is particularly an interesting question. I have my thoughts, but I would love to hear yours.

Of course it is. I'm interested in the discussion, but as is typical of most leftists, it's based off of emotion, and not off of any kind of reasoning. If he's going to hide behind his conspiracies, then someone else should ask the same question I did.

So if I am upset with drug dealers and gangs,..I get to "turn the crank" and burn their stuff?

There it is.
The emotional rationalization of an "adult child" of the Left with a low IQ and no knowledge of history.

Certainly they don't think the neighborhood is going to now get better.
Look at what happened to the Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles after it's riot, looting and burning in 1965.
It never recovered.
Several decades passed before a new grocery store was built and it soon had to close as well as a county run hospital / clinic that finally was demolished in 2007.
This is a pattern that has repeated time after time and they never learn.
This time will be no different.
Property values in that Minneapolis neighborhood will crater and NOBODY will risk rebuilding businesses in that area.
Joblessness will increase.
The remaining large businesses will soon relocate out of there and all that will remain are a few seedy pawn shops, liquor stores and tattoo parlors all of which will be regularly robbed.
Crime in the area will skyrocket.
Dem politicians will keep making empty campaign promises to the remaining inhabitants and those politicians will be aided and abetted by race pimps and Leftist / Marxists all intent on stoking MORE racial division and resentment.
Around and around it goes, and where it stops EVERYBODY knows......except soft children of the Left like not-so-slicknick who wants to "turn the crank".

I am still waiting for an answer to my very real.question. If people get fed up with what ever makes them upset, do they get to burn the place down?
Look, the fact is that the officers involved in this incident were terminated and the Officers union and City officials did not try to cover up or hide the facts. A criminal investigation is under way and at least one arrest has been made. Why are the riots happening at all? Racism is only to blame if in fact it can be proven, otherwise racism in this case is just a figment of racist minds.
I have heard unsubstantiated reports that antifa is behihe countrynd much of this and the Bernie Bros were promising insurrection this summer. Coincidence?
I haven't seen the usual antifa regalia, (flags, banners, logo hoodies, etc.), in any of the TV or online images yet, but there is seemingly something very atypical about this and how it is spreading across the country that we have not seen in "race riots" before.
[This message has been edited by randye (edited 05-29-2020).]
It is my contention that the militant wing of the DNC (antifa, bernie bros, etc) has been waiting for the trigger and it looks like Milwaukee ain't happening, so Minneapolis was close enough.

I'm not suggesting that you're wrong and what's happening right now does look a lot different from Ferguson and Baltimore / Freddie Gray.

NOPE, It isn't Ronald reporting for his favorite news propaganda network.
It's simply another example of the total cognitive disconnect of the Left from obvious reality and / or their penchant for shamelessly lying.
From the article:
"MSNBC’s Ali Velshi tried his best Chip Diller impersonation while covering the riots in the Twin Cities last night. As a liquor store burned behind him, with the 3rd Precinct overrun and torched nearby, Velshi insisted that the “protest” was “not generally speaking unruly.”
It is clear that this is not a spontaneous, "grass roots" incident.
warning: some "salty language" in both videos
Rioters in Phoenix vandalized police cars and a courthouse last night. That is definitely not normal here.
I am starting to think that it may not be a coincidence that there have been a few new leftist voices on this forum lately. Think back to 2016. Remember the Internet Research Agency, the Russian troll farm from St Petersburg, the real Russian interference? It could just be that we are seeing the next stage.
Keep your powder dry, boys and girls. It's all just smoke and mirrors.....for now.
