This is a fun one to watch. They are all beating up on each other. I think the Republicans are going to get a lot of talking points from this debate.

And mayor Bloomberg really took a huge hit on the NDA's that he has with women that worked for his company. He looked like he was a deer in the headlights.

Is that what it is? A debate?

The wife wanted to watch it, so we are. I don't see a candidate that can beat President Trump based on their "plans". Bloomberg has shown his lack of debate experience, Warren seems to think she can take over at will and the moderators are letting her. Sanders is looking like a fool and Biden keeps talking about transparency and yet no one seems willing to ask him about Hunter.

Senator Sanders just stated he believes the will of the people should be who is the candidate at the DNC Convention. He may live to regret that statement.

I think that Warren, Biden and some of the others really hit Bloomberg exceptionally hard on the NDA's with some of the women who used to work for him. They challenged him to release those women from the NDA's. All he could do is just stand there and look stupid and guilty.

I am really enjoying it. But, I just switched over to Hannity so I can watch Trump at his rally. Jam packed as usual, with Americans who respect America and who don't want a hand out or to take anyone else's money away from them. What a contrast.

Trump just said they had to turn away at least 21,000 people because the stadium was full.

I'm reading that Sanders came out on top with Nevada Dems. Could be. I'm definitely not a Sanders fan so, my opinion is obviously biased. Warren scored some major hits on Bloomberg, Biden got very little traction, he's done. Bloomberg's comment about Sanders and communism will definitely be seeing time in Trump's ads. Best showings IMO were by Amy Klobuchar and Pete Buttigieg but, that's just an outsider's opinion.
The mere presence of Mayor Bloomberg really helped Sanders. All of them are worried about Bloomberg's wealth and buying the election which made him the target and allowed Sanders to skate.

What I will predict is, Trump ads will start showing short clips of this debate in his re-election campaign against who ever is the Dem nominee.

I watched 50% of it. Warren scares me. Sanders scares me. Biden is a fake that needs to retire, Pete is too smooth for his young age and scares me. That leaves Amy and Bloomberg. Lets go with Bloomberg and Amy as the VP against Trump. I supported Trump. I knew of his character defects but his EGO is starting to get a little too big and if he thinks he can do whatever he wants without that little self control thingee most of us are born with that is starting to scare me away from supporting him.

Trump has more self control and restraint than anyone running.
He uses Twitter and the media to live rent free in liberals heads.

Something people dont think about....
Since Watergate, the power of the Administrative branch has been restrained by Congress and the Judiciary, and has lost its co-equal status. Trump is working to restore that.
Trump may be represented in the MSM as what you say, but it is far from actuality.
If a Democrat is elected this cycle, we lose our Republic to a Parlimentary system, for all intents and purposes, as a Democratic president will rubberstamp anything Congress passes.

Don't worry, I am not a socialist.... I just think Trump would be well advised to be a little less self promoting. It is like I teach my kids. If you are really good at something, you don't have to tell anyone....Deep down - they already know. Cheers.

I hear what you're saying.

The super-rich seem to be less filtered in what they say, as the consequnces of their actions have less effect on them monetarily and socially.

In my view, Trump is doing what he needs to do to achieve his goals. He lives free in his detractors heads, while his staff and the GOP go quietly about the business of setting this country back on the right path.

Divide and conquer, or a variant of that tactic.

In the end, it was ego that brought down Nixon. Until then, he was doing a great job.

In some ways, Trump reminds me of Nixon, but not his personality. I have faith that trump will not succumb to the same human foibles that haunted Tricky Dick.

When well over 99% of all the mainstream media coverage is wholly negative about him, it's easier to understand the "self promotion" as you termed it.

President Trump is, in my opinion, a master at the use of social media by a President.

He uses it not only to get out his message but he uses it like a laser pointer to toy with angry Leftists and keep them completely reactive to him.

Yep....instead of congratulating him, more and more of them are asking "Can he be stopped and how can we stop him?"
If he goes to the convention with overwhelming majority of delegates, it's going to be difficult to do.

Finally THAT makes some small amount of sense.

It sure as hell makes more sense than the fairy tale of Russia backing President Trump.

Who the hell would have guessed that the Russians wanted Trump to win so that the US could have a record high stock market, historic low minority unemployment a revitalized military and a big, tall border wall.

My feelings on Sanders recently changed dramatically, didn't like him or his proposed "changes" for America. Anyone that knows me or has read any of my postings know how I feel about Socialism but then, I learned that during the 60s, Sanders claimed Conscientious Objector status in order to avoid the draft and being sent to Viet Nam. While I don't approve of that particular status, it's on the books and beats running to Canada as many draft dodgers did.

Then I thought about it and remembered that Senator Sanders voted to send our military off to war.

I won't go into how that makes me feel but to say that I think he is lower than whale crap would be an understatement.

That claim submitted, bothers me none at all.
He was too old for the draft by the time his # would have came up anyway.
