So here's the thing. The idiot from Grassroots who was fined probably had his garage door wide open, used impact tools or some other noisy equipment, and more than likely is one of those assclowns who has 10 cars parked in the streets like a junkyard. The rules of my HOA are simply that I cannot work on my car in the driveway. Once in my closed garage, I can do whatever I want.

Here's the thing about that article. Sacramento is divided into a downtown "City" area, some nice residential areas, and of course complete shitholes. Guaranteed this law is pointed to the shithole neighborhoods but as always, everyone has to suffer.

So here's the thing, it's California, where it's more about restricting what a formerly free people can do than about enabling them to live freely.
