It was great. Themed as a come back kid story. The President touted many of his successes (trade deals, criminal justice reform, largest tax break, great/historic job and economic numbers, …).

He honored Rush Limbaug', who was seated next to the First Lady, for his consistent voice of reason, and recognized his Stage Four cancer. He presented Rush with the highest civilian honor, ?Presidential Medal For Freedom?, and had the First Lady put it on him.

Trump had one of the last Tuskgogee airmen in the audience along with his Grandson. The Airman 100 years old, the Grandson on track to go to the Space Force Academy.

Much more.

Now Don,
Remember, her district elected her and the Dem majority made her Speaker. So, they got what they wanted.
What I find hard to believe is, there is actually a Mr. Pelosi...
And no, I'm not kidding.

I watched the SOTA last night and it was GREAT. The media and the Democrats have never acknowledged the accomplishments he has been able to do all while being constantly attacked by the deep state and the media. The Dems say on their hands as he ticked off those accomplishments. Things that if they were honest about they should have been happy about. Things like record low unemployment, rising wages, black unemployment at record levels. Just who do the Dems think they are fooling? They obviously dont care about the little people, minorities and the middle class.

He put it out there for all to see. The Dems can whine, but they have done nothing to help anyone. They can't even run a caucus in little ole Iowa.

On the Tuskegee airman, I believe he was the great grandfather of the young boy who wanted to be in the Space force. Also, I noted how when Rush was given the medal he was up cheering for Rush, leaning towards him. It was obvious that he liked and approved of Rush and the president. Quite a visual of how untrue the Democratic screeds are that Trump is a racist.

Trump punctured a lot of the mytos that the Democrats and the media have been trying to perpetuate for decades. And I think it was so successful that it ate at Pelosi so much that she ripped up the written copy he handed her.

Now today this extremely partisan impeachment sham will be over. He will be acquitted. And here is my prediction. He will be reelected in November in a landslide. He will at least double the number of blacks that vote Republican and that is what will propel him to that victory.

She was on the cover of the NY Post. "Shame of the Union". They call her "Tore Loser'.

I can see that. I see something else too. The horror on the Dumb's faces when they see that they no longer can bank on the black vote and the votes of other minorities.

I enjoyed every second of it. I knew I would. It was our President at his best. I thought Nancy was going to start crying at any moment.

My favorite moment was when he reunited the soldier with his family.

He probably shouldn't have used the phrase, "Manifest Destiny" as he referred to the Mars program. I'm surprised I haven't heard any comments from the left.

I haven't historically paid attention to a lot of SOTU addresses, and only lately started really watching them.

This SOTU drives home for me the need for President Trump to have "Fireside Chats". The only way he gets the message out is to bypass the media, INCLUDING social media.

I don't see how anyone with a soul could watch this and not tear up a little.

The country needs to be constantly reminded of what is being done, who is fighting the change, and what has been accomplished.

Some excellent future quotes in that address. Especially the last half.

While he was saying many of these things integral to America, I could not help but think how foreign some of these things must sound to those indoctrinated by the media these days. How shocking for them.
Though, they probably didn't even watch it.

I would love to sit with a socialism loving leftist and have them tell me what was wrong with each thing he said so I could debate it with them.

May sound silly, but my Wife and I ruined a pork dinner over viewing the SOTU last night. We regret nothing.

Does everyone else feel as good as I today? Did you stretch more? Are your plans easier to see and accomplish? Clarity even?

I am feeling great today. I believe I secured a long term commitment for my company that will be very profitable and will allow me to help some young people learn the high tech side of the electrical trade. Onward and upward to reach new heights. Trump has removed constraints, excess regulations and taxes. Let us now celebrate with glee the strength of our economic prowess.

Nancy Pelosi's office has issued an official apology.

They say it was all a big mistake.

She thought she was tearing up Bernie Sanders ballots from Iowa.....

....or the Constitution.

She was so drunk she couldn't be sure.

Our President also spent a good ? 10 minutes lambasting sanctuary cities and in the case of Kaliforrnia, sanctuary States. He then introduced the brother of a fine man killed by an undocumented voter who had been deported two previous times, protected by sanctuary cities, mentioning introducing a Bill in Congress where citizens could sue their governments for allowing undocumented voters to cause harm to legal US citizens.

"The United States should be a sanctuary for law-abiding American citizens"

"Just as we believe in the First Amendment, we also believe in another constitutional right that is under siege all across our country. So long as I am President, I will always protect your Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms”

It Amazes me that these things need to even be stated. It is more amazing that anyone is against them.

Being called a Patriot was a thing that the dems used against US just two short years ago. There is a thread here about it, and those that declared Patriotism were jaded by our left leaning members. Now, we are constantly hearing this past several days about democratic Patriotism?

FAQ off now liberals. This goat will gloat.

Pelosi just had a news conference. She did her best to justify her actions last night. I had to turn off the voice on the TV and ignore her. She is off her rocker. Delusional.

How long before she end up in the ER, spasming and screaming. TDS is a reality. But, can it be treated?

Thanks for the link.

Speaker Pelosi attempting to put a "spin" on her failures isn't even entertaining. How she maintains her position is beyond me....

Soon she will be known as the only Speaker of the House to have lost that position twice. I doubt very much that the Democrats in the House will elect her to be the minority leader after they lose the majority in the House. Maybe we could get another crazy person to be the minority leader. Maybe AOC.
