Many don't. Heck, I read a post on a cattle board just yesterday in which the wife of a big Canadian cattle producer (she's vegan..go figure) firmly believes that "tin foil" (aluminum foil) causes Alzheimer's and refuses to use it in any way or form. I told her she needs to be wearing it on her head since there is zero scientific or medical evidence to support her theory. Even the Alzhiemer Foundation has come out and said that belief is completely false.
The gullibility of certain demographics never ceases to amaze me.
