And all this time I was expecting to discover something profound at the end of it all...

It's great to see these 100 year-olds who are still physically and mentally fit. Gives us all something to strive for.

However, I'll never forget some of the seniors homes I visited while delivering goods back in the 1970's. I was just a young guy, and seeing old people screaming hysterically while duct-taped to their wheelchairs in the hallway was horrifying to me. Thankfully, I never had to experience that with my own parents before their demise.

I spent 47 years dealing with a mother who was one step from being zip ties to a chair. We are all crazy in our own way but dealing with that level of mental illness is something I don't wish on my worst enemy.

Some levels of crazy you can't argue or rationalize with, you just have to do your best to ignore it.

Except of coarse for religion, with it's promise of everlasting life after death in paradise where all will be revealed.
When it comes to discovering something profound, that's gotta' be right up there.

How sad to wait your entire life for the end of it?

BUT I JUST DISCOVERED THE UPLOAD IMAGE BUTTON AND THE SHIFT KEY ALL AT THE SAME TIME

The whole structure of that struck me as funny!
It felt very...esoteric.
