If it's mid-engine and red, it must be a Fiero!

That, too.

I think the Fiero GT is one of the best looking American cars ever made. I still remember the first time I saw one, it was love at first sight.

Back in the late 80s , I was a 5 year old immigrant that just arrived in Newfoundland, I still have never forgotten seeing the flip lights come up on a red notchback , I thought then it was the most futuristic thing I've ever seen. To this day the Fiero is my all time face. 70s stingrays 2nd. And the 91-92 Camaro is my 3rd favorite

I was in the pits at Firebird, had to be 1985. The fastback hadn't yet been released, but one of the teams had one, gold if I remember. It had an Indy scoop. I knew it was a Fiero, but I thought it was a custom. I stopped in my tracks, my jaw dropped and I just stood there, drooling.

edit: Now that I think about it, it was probably a PPG car.

I went the opposite way. Adding new OEM C8 Corvette Emblems to my Corvette powered Fiero.

Everyone can have an opinion. While not the ugliest, to me its pretty far down the list from best. My opinion is the Ford GT (40) is at the top. It still looks great 50 years after it was born. The only updates from the 60s to the 2005 model was a more modern engine, and made just a bit larger. The latest model has ruined it.

Nope...

BUT... THAT's what the Fiero COULD have evolved into in under 10 years.
Beating the Corvette into the super-performance category by 20 years...
