Somehow, I don't think the lefties are grasping the concept of democratic elections. If the right won 27.5% of the seats, then they were democratically elected..... Or is it only democratic if you vote for them?

The city of Dresden DID NOT officially declare any such "Nazi emergency".

It was a proposal by a communist / socialist who also wanted the government outlaw any opposition party:

"For years, politicians have failed to position themselves clearly and unequivocally against the right-wing extremists, and to outlaw them," Aschenbach told CNN..."

This is just another case of a Marxist trying to do what Marxists do.

As a reminder, Dresden is located deep in what was the former COMMUNIST East Germany. There are still a lot of old Marxist holdovers there.
