I have been going to the race track a few times a year for the past 20 years.

It is funny how things change. At first it was all drag racing my car. As the years go by, it has become more than just the drag racing, much more.

Does anyone else on Pennocks have a similar local track in their part of our country that we need to make sure stays alive?

Nice video!

There used to be three drag strips and two dirt tracks in the Phoenix area, but we are now down to one of each.

For a few short years, we had F1 in downtown Phoenix and air races out in Mesa.

What I miss the most was the Eloy Gran Prix, where there was SCCA style sports car racing once a year in the streets of a small town half way between Phoenix and Tucson.

Wow - sounds like you have had your share of fun! Support the remaining tracks - keep the ones we have as it is rare new ones are opened. Thanks for sharing!
