Here is a song that is completely outside my usual tastes, but I like it. It makes me feel good.
The original video is amusing and is partially shot in an auto junkyard, which appeals to the old gearhead in me. At 1:23 there are a couple of old guys sitting on a pan and a shovel.

I came across this video this morning. It is a live version and includes what appears to be a vintage Gibson archtop. The guitar may well be older than me.
edit: I looked it up. The Guitar is a Gibson L-50. I couldn't find the specific year, but they were made from the '30s through the '60s.

Here is a very pretty girl singing a song that was the #1 hit the week I was born:

Interesting visuals, and the name reminded me of a band from the '70s. If you ave never heard of "Wishbone Ash", you just might like them. They have some good guitar work.

When I heard that song on the radio a few years ago, I really liked it and wondered who the female vocalist was. I was rather surprised when I looked up the song on YouTube!

And now for something completely different.

This one has a fun, catchy, but very laid back vibe.

In their music video she is road tripping in a Mustang, but the studio version doesnt have as sweet of a guitar sound.

I like the Tedeschi/Trucks video. Derek Trucks is one of my favorite guitar players.

Here are Derek Trucks, Sonny Landreth and Buddy Cage. It starts out mellow, but then they really start cooking about half way through.
Buddy Cage passed at the beginning of this year.

Tedeschi Trucks Tiny Desk video on YT is nice too.

I love SCOTS. Seen them a bunch. Nitty Gritty and She's Liquored Up and Lacquered Down are fun.

Here's a fun one to watch. Lots of rat rods doing their thing.

And the crazy Cramps

I'm glad you posted this, cause I've asked a couple of people who this is and nobody knew. Never imagined that's who would be round performing it.

If you want fun, happy songs, you can't go wrong with Louis Jordan.

from 1944:

There are lessons to be learned from the 1930s. With all of the stuff that was going on, people still took the time to have fun.

A short (10 min) film from 1934 with Cab Calloway. Some good music and an amusing storyline:

How about Speedy West along with Merle Travis and his wife:

It is likely that Paul Bigsby had a hand in the construction of both Merle's guitar and Speedy's steel.

Here is a fun song from the mid '60s with one of my favorite bands:

The Byrds took rock in a new direction and I still want a guitar just like Roger's.

And from 1970:

Both of these bands had hippies listening to country without knowing it. Sneaky
