I say: Cultural Collaboration!

Cultural differences should not separate us, they should enrich us. I recently posted a couple of threads where the music from different cultures combine in such a way that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

The left is so fond of Orwellian Newspeak, let’s turn it around on them.
Diversity implies diversion. Collaboration brings us together towards a common goal. Cultural appropriation is a good thing.

From now on, “cultural diversity” is a “dog whistle” for separatists, racists. Embrace “cultural appropriation”!

Unity is our strength.

There was nothing that I enjoyed more than playing with the Italians down the street. Their father owned a large fruit and vegetable store and the mom was a wonderful cook. I took in the song, food, and strength of their family. They shared from their garden, and I do the same now. They drove a Cadillac. Acclimation was not a problem they way it is with some groups of immigrants. Unity was what helped these folks live and prosper in a nation they adopted. Diversity was not in their vocabulary.

There is a difference.

Some people come here, adopt our holidays, customs, and way of life. They enrich our culture, and add to our country's value. They get jobs, and strengthen our economy. They proudly fly our flag and stand up for our country. They think of themselves as Americans.

Some people come here, expecting us to adopt their customs, way of life, and beliefs/religion. They call us names, and describe us as evil. They demand that we pay for their healthcare, housing, food, etc, while they literally leave their trash all over our country. They defiantly fly the flag of the country from which they came, and refuse to honor, love, and respect our country/flag. They chant the songs from the country from which they came, and refuse to sing our national anthem--or to respect those who do. They describe our country is inhospitable and inhumane. They commit the same crimes against Americans that they complained of where they came from. Our economy suffers from their onslaught. They refuse to be Americans. If we don't succumb to their demands, they accuse us of being racist and *-phobic. They use violence against our citizens, and vandalize our country in the name of diversity, while demanding asylum from our country because of how bad things are where they came from.
