I have spent some time reading about Hindustani classical music and about the roots of Flamenco. I should have seen it.
It is the perfect story of cultural history come full circle. That's why it sounds so right, like a sonic, anthropological epiphany!
It's like taking a run around the block and running head on into yourself.
If Metallica joined in, the circle would become a sphere.
