I'm Protestant so I cannot do the "Pontification" honors..
Did you mean: Bloviate?

If so, I could probably fit the bill if i had the time and/or inclination to do so. Inasmuch as I have neither (is it "neether" or "nither"? No matter I don't have either one....or, is it 'iither one"?)
Reminds me of the time a dead cow was unexpectedly found in the pasture and it was said by a certain cattleman "Damn, she never did that before", whereupon wife said "Nope, and she never will again either"... Ither? I forget now exactly which she said, but I will not forgive the cow for up and croaking in the middle of the night, without so much as a "By your leave Sir" after all the hay and feed I had given her over the years. (Dang thing swelled up big as a VW Beetle during the night with 4 hooves pointing skyward as if she was somehow channeling aliens to come have their perverse way with her.)
Croaking I said..well, I don't really know if she croaked like a bullfrog or not..may not have uttered a sound as I was in the house doing 'other stuff', which is completely different than stuffing something. The ungrateful bovine departed the sphere of the living on a Saturday night, and AS I've already clearly stated; I am a Protestant and try not to do anything work related on the Sabbath, so the leathery VW had to lie in state right where she was until Monday morning which presented me with an unpleasant predicament.
Her gaseous contents were going to be violently dispelled as soon as I started dragging her off to one of the far corners of my little world to become sustenance for the coyotes, vultures, all manner of tiny fauna and much larger scavengers until there was nothing left but the death beetles in the hollow of her skull. I needed to deflate the beefcritter from a distance ever so safe from the stench of decay so I elected to do so from my back steps with my Weatherby .270 with it's Banner scope and fine Corinthian leather carrying strap. (ok, I pretty much lied about the type leather)

I had plenty of rounds of 130 gr. .270 Win Silvertips and some MUCH older Peters Core-Lokt soft points, both of which which would hurl themselves toward ol Bossy at around 3000 feet per second and I knew from a similar experience with a dead floating beaver the year before, should do the job nicely without triggering my gag reflex, so I began to chamber rounds and ''breathe..squeeze" firing projectile after projectile into her. She was partially deflated after about 10 rounds when my neighbor James B. drove up and came round back..to the chagrin of my dog (and partly to my own displeasure as I was still in my pajamas). He inquired of course as to what I was doing and before I could get an explanation out, asked why I was shooting at a dead cow and I (only partly) jokingly said "Because I can always use the practice, and it isn't really cost effective for me to shoot at a live one..besides they aren't so dumb as to just stand still and let me shoot them like this has agreed to do by virtue of her expiring".

Always the nosy one, James then asked why I was not interested in cutting her open, doing a necropsy (some of you mucky mucks with college educations would call it a Post Mortem, which I always found rather odd, as post mortem is Latin for 'after death' and who the hell would do a necropsy on a live animal?) and finding out what was wrong with her.
I laid the rifle down, took a sip of my morning coffee, looked up at him and calmly told him "I already know what's wrong with her. She's dead Jim

Anyone can Pontificate ..express one's opinions (on any topic, is what I was going for) the rest of the definition is "in a way considered annoyingly pompous and dogmatic."
That's up to you

It is my pompous and dogmatic opinion that you should have a bagel with lox and capers.

There are many things you can call someone about. Calling them and leaving a message that just says "give me a call" , can many times lead to them giving you a call, missing you and saying "Hey just calling you back, guess I missed ya". Rinse and repeat.
For goodness sake people just say what you were going to say in the message. No phone tag involved.
Better yet text. ...Can read those anytime and respond anytime, and you can see the response anytime..even while doing other things

Not true. Any message left on some people's VM will still be there, unheard, the next time you visit. Texts will get a reply, but sometimes not until you sit in front of that person.

My favorite is people calling me, leaving a VM for me to call them, then turning their phone off. I call back, but cannot leave a VM, because their VM is full. Later, they say I never called. Sometimes, they text me, then turn off their phone. Apparently, text messages do not go through when the phone is powered back on. Worse yet, they leave voicemails telling me that they're stranded, car broken down, and nothing else.

Ah, Grasshoppers.

Sit and listen to a tale of wonder.

These electronic devices have a magical and mystical feature.

In ancient times, in the language of Sinclair-Basic, it was known as an "Off Button"

If you apply yourselves, and study hard, and practice-practice-practice you too may discover this wondrous thing, and be enlightened in its use.....

AND, its main purpose, which is to convey the message...

I miss Fieros, Trans Ams, Grand Prixs, Bonnevilles and GTOs. They were all beautiful and had real character.
Now we are stuck with Buick. The name sounds like the sound some people make when they can't hold their liquor.

OK, I am done Pontiacificating.

He has the most "Rumsfeld'ian" looking sly or calculated grin since Donald Rumsfeld.

There is a recent photo of AG Barr standing next to a black SUV where the Rums'iosity of AG Barr's grin on the Rumsfeld Scale was the largest ever recorded by Rums'ograph since Donald Rumsfeld. I see that photo of AG Barr all the time on MSNBC. But I have never been able to find it online with Google.

Actually, the most recent one said to plug their computer back in. The computer had been unplugged for a storm.

The previous message was "Yes, you can see your email anywhere you have internet and a browser."

The message before that was, "About 3:30."
