I wonder if future generations will ever feel about the previous generations cars the way we feel about our fathers generations of cars? Or will the above cars always be THE cars?
I just can’t imagine a Dodge Stratis as a collectors car...

I get that, I kinda think the same thing. Though I help put on this show, http://backtothe80smn.com/ https://www.facebook.com/BackToThe80sMN/ and there are very devoted enthusiasts whom back in the day many wouldn't have thought would ever exist. The tricky part could be that many youngsters these days don't care much about driving in general. I think for some its about the time period in their lives and not so much the actual car, or the tech, or the art, or the driving of it. I think for me and cars I'm more about the latter stuff.

I sold that a few years back. I got fed up with it after an engine swap a shop done for me. They stole my perfect 413 engine I gave them to install, and switched it out with one they trashed in their own drag car. So after some investigation I figured out why I had so much trouble with a perfect engine. By the time I figured theyd stolen it, they closed up shop and moved out of town with no forwarding address. I let them do the swap for me because it was the dead of winter and didnt want to have to pull the engine outside in 20* weather. Apparently AFTER I had my problem, I found out they had ripped more people off too. It was supposedly a Mopar specialist shop.
When I got out of the Navy and started working at a good job I saw a car that could have been this ones twin. Same shape sitting in a field under a tree. It was 72 Dodge Charger. It probably was an auto with a 318 I stopped and the guy wasn't an ass but he was very short with me and under no circumstances was the car for sale. I watched it fall apart over the years until it was just gone, sunk into the ground after a couple of hurricanes

Just figured out how to install PIP on Linux Mint, Starting to get the hang of this Non Windows Universe.
Saw this Rod, at the 2011 Street Wheelers Show and Shine, in July 2011. Not sure what it was, and couldn't find the owner to ask, as they must have wandered off to see the rest of the show, but it was pretty cool.
