I have always been a big Gershwin fan and “Summertime” has been one of my favorites as far back as I can remember. The song was written in 1934 for “Porgy and Bess”.

This is my take. The drums are synthesized, all other instruments are played by me.

I LOVE that piece! It is one of my top two or three all time favorites, the opening clarinet glissando is legendary.
