Anyone have FF and most to all Add-ons suddenly stopped working and now listed like this on Legacy Add-on page:

Not just No Script...
EFF Privacy Badger (Disabled) last Update Feb 19
and DL updates or even trying to DL any new add-ons have problems.

Most got disabled at ~ midnight last night 5/4/19 and without warning.

Is a fix:
https://blog.mozilla.org/ad...-add-ons-in-firefox/
or if you want manually fix
https://forums.informaction...97a&start=15#p100064
https://forums.informaction...ed010086f920#p100088
app.shield... default is true and why I only reset the app.norm... value when done.

That seems to fix the problem and can DL Add-on updates too and w/o restarting FF

Claim some cert died but I think some idiot(s) at FF set app.shield to false, send out to everyone and app.norm timed out and block add-ons. Why? if you put app.no in the search box you can watch other things to get filled in after you set app.norm... to 1. Whatever...

Was bad enough FF disabled "Never Update" and many times a day FF tries to force you to get every update like WinX does to most people.
Stopping auto updated is to prevent this crap and worse like WinX Oct18 disaster but even if you try "Check for updates but let you choose to install them" then FF will whine many times a day.

Yup...glad it wasn't just me!

I uninstalled firefox, reinstalled it, did a "refresh" (since it came back with all my previous settings) and then was finally able to reinstall my ad and script blockers. Working fine again.

Reminds me of whenever Windows 10 updates itself and something always stops working after.

Or a recent Xbox update that turned everyone's Xbox One into a fancy brick...
