Earlier this year I flew on this very plane. Each 787 in their fleet is dedicated to a different Norwegian person of note, in this case it was the famous (infamous?) Greta Garbo. On the entertainment center they had this video showing the plane being built. I was very impressed

I was picturing a guy walking around with a clip board containing something like this:



...and shouting out things like, "OK guys, now insert tab 27b into slot c of the fuselage assembly and glue sparingly."

Strangely enough, it's not that different. Just "Okay, page 478 says tab 11,854 goes into slot 47. 5, an torque the bolts to 700 ft-lb."
