Ariel atom on Nurburgring VS Corvette Z06 600HP

I watch this and wonder how the Vette caught up to him near the end of the video. The Vette driver couldn't take any of the turns at high speed and let the Atom pass. Then he passes the Atom again later on and once again slows him down.

The Atom was running low on gas

The Ariel Atom is really something else. I wonder what engine he had in there? I know you can order it with a bunch of different motor configurations. Some people would go with the Toyota motor, and I think you could also get the EcoTec at one point...

I have become old. I did not find myself wanting to take the drivers place, maybe it is my noticing how much I do not care about much anymore but, the video did make me feel some stress.

Wow, really nice looking 944 at the 3:00 mark..
