I wonder how noisy it was inside.
I probably couldn't even hear me shatting myself...

Very cool site. Some of those bunkers looked like Swiss Cheese, some with heavy damage on the water side and some on the land side. It's almost like the shells melted and gouged the metal rather than blowing it apart. Do you think this was done with tanks or artillery and what size?

How hot must it have been to take that kind of damage.

I have seen the bunker pic before, but this morning it really hit home just how many Jules are needed to blow valleys in metal that thick.

I believe it was a Müller not Jules that pulled that trigger.

This is what 18 year old "kids" were doing in 1944. No safe spaces, no hurtful unthinkable remarks that they couldn't cope with, just dying for their country so the ungrateful, uninformed snowflakes of today could act like fools decades later..............

This 2 minute video is pretty moving. Worth your while.

"What actually made this country great is ordinary guys like this doing extraordinary things."
Thanks to all the men, women, families, past and present, who put their lives on the line to protect our freedom.

There have always been snowflakes, but those of us willing to take a risk vastly out-numbered them.

Somewhere along the way, in the past 20 years, those numbers got reversed.

Where do you believe you are in this "Gap" Boondawg?
