I would not like to be held responsible for much of who I was before 25 years old. @metoo
I do not think I was as bad as the guy was "accused" of but, I did aggressively peruse sex with adult women. I am sure to be not allowed to be a Supreme Court Justice.

I think the accuser is a liar, trying to get her few minutes of fame. Now she dont even want to testify because she knows theyll annihilate her. He actually should sue her for defamation.

It is now undeniably obvious to any rational adult that this Christine Ford farce is nothing more than a stall tactic. The subversive cabal will successfully hold off the Kavanauh confirmation hearings until after the new senate is seated, and will probably prevent Trump from ever successfully nominating another Supreme Court justice. This is nothing short of criminal. I am pissed!

If the polls are to be believed, this detestable, dangerous, radical left, socialist has a good chance of taking over the mo**** fu***** Jeff Flake's job, after he abandoned it in a childish huff.

I seem to remember that the Democrats have said that they will stop this nomination by any means.

Until the new senate? I think your suspicion falls a bit short.

If in fact she is wanting to wait until an investigation by the F.B.I. has been completed and the Democrats can get agreement to that delay, I think until the new senate is seated is a bit shy of what to expect. Consider how long the Russia Trump investigation has taken so far and is still has no foreseeable conclusion. Consider all those Democrat holdouts ingrained in the wood work of the F.B.I. that have been dragging out the collusion investigation that still has not proven what it was supposed to be investigating. Sure it may have, [/i]may have[/i], found some hush money paid to a former **** star or whatever, but when was that the "aim" of the investigation? Since the start really as they are trying to find ANY skeletons to use Russia be dammed!

Given that, do you really think they are looking at such a "short term" solution?

Instead I would think the F.B.I. investigation would become so intrusive as to do the same thing to Kavanauh as they have beem doing to Trump. They may not be able to prove these allegations of a drunken high school party, but you can be sure they will start looking in every dark corner they can find to try to find something while they drag the investigation for 2 years in hopes Trump will not be re-elected.

That my thoughts based on what the Democrats have been doing in their desperation to get power back. The total loss of the SCOTUS will be devastating. The more seats replaced by conservative judges, the longer the Democrat agenda will be unable to achieve it's goals as it's actions are challenged in court.

My thinking is that just as they believed Hillary would be president, they believe they will win the senate, then simply deny Kavanaugh's confirmation. That is why I posted about Sinema. That is what they expect the senate will look like.
Failing that, they will devise another plan.

There isn't anything for the FBI to legally or even ethically investigate.

First, "Federal Authorities" have no jurisdiction over something that happened, (or didn't), in Maryland in the 1980's regarding "sexual misconduct."

Second, Maryland’s previous statute of limitations provided that child sex abuse victims only had to age 25 to sue (seven years from the date the victim reached the age of majority).

The new law in 2017 extends the statute of limitations to age 38.

The Law Does Not Help Victims Whose SOL Expired Before October 1, 2017

California law is also not helpful to this obvious nonsense.

The statute of limitations for "sexual misconduct" even a rape in California was, until 2015, a ten year limit on rape and sexual assault charges. In 2016, the state passed SB813, which revoked the statute of limitations. The law also ended the time limit on older cases, as long as the statute of limitations has not yet expired.
However, the law does not retroactively remove the statute for cases that have already timed out. Clearly, anything that happened in the 1980s had "timed out" and therefore even State charges could not be brought and therefore, California investigators cannot open a case.

Washington D.C. law is even less helpful to this farce that even Maryland or California.

There is no reason or legal authority for "Federal authorities" or D.C., Maryland or California state authorities to investigate anything.

The Justice Department said in a statement Monday night that the FBI’s role during background investigations is to evaluate whether the nominee could pose a national security risk and then provide that information “for the use of the decision makers.”
The department says it’s not the job of the FBI to judge the significance or the credibility of an accusation.

This is nothing more than political theatre.

As per the norm, the message from the Democrats doesn't need to be founded in fact, reason, probability, logic, possibility, common sense or legality.
It just needs to flare an emotional response.

It's all they've got, but it's a formidable weapon due to the makeup of their audience......

I did hear Lindsey Graham say that Judge Kavanaugh will be confirmed. No ifs, ands, or buts.

Also, the Chair of the committee running the confirmation hearings basically nixed any FBI investigation. You see the FBI is part of the Executive Branch. To give them the investigation is to give away the Senates Constitutional duty to "advise and consent". That isn't going to happen.

I believe that it should be full steam ahead.
Just think about it for second, could Trump do anything that the Democrats will agree to? Soooooo, run them over if they try to slow Trump down.
Carrere politicians know this is about stall tactics and a "democratic hope" that Democrats will show up in mass for the next round of elections. This hope is all they have because Trump has not been impeached and no chance of impeachment anytime soon.
A mass of newly elected Democrats could stop Trump, sense the lies from democrats and liberal "fake" news sources have not dethroned Trump.

WELL, this should just about wrap up this whole sick farce.......but we all know it probably won't.

Blasey Ford's Female Classmate, Her Last Alleged Witness, Denies Ever Attending Party With Kavanaugh

The accuser is said to be travelling cross-country to Washington D.C. by car because "her alleged trauma prevents her from flying", (closed spaces).

Place your bets on how fast they turn the car around and head back to the People's Republic of Kalifornia.....or don't

My wife is listening to a "Agenda Free News" stream on YouTube that's been reporting on a letter someone sent claiming they have evidence he planned and participated in drugging women so a train of men could gang rape them.

Story falls apart so now they have people suddenly crawling out of the woodwork to try to stop the nomination. Yet so many liberals will believe this and pollute public media with meme after meme on it. SMH, good thing I'm packing to move this week since we start moving on the 1st. At least the worst of it will probably be over by the time we have internet in the new place and everything hooked up and working.

I don't even think they care if anyone believes this crap, as long as they can keep stalling, day by day, week by week until they take control of the senate. If they don't gain the senate, they will do this very same thing to every Republican senator, to insure that nothing gets done for the next six years.

I wonder if George Soros has his filthy NAZI fingers in this. He is sure trying to throw the senate race here in Arizona.

The left views The Constitution as a hindrance to their goals. They have for a while, led an all on assault against the first and second amendments. They have recently attempted to chip away at Article II and the 12th amendment, and are now working on the fifth and 14th amendments.

The left obviously objects to the long held principle of the presumption of innocence. They have demonstrated this, time and again. They object to Kavanaugh precisely because, as a Supreme Court justice, he will not allow The Constitution to be subverted.

Judge Kavanaugh Accuser’s Attorney Has Ties to George Soros

quote
Judge Kavanaugh is under fire after a story conveniently surfaced from his time in high school, as Christine Blasey Ford is claiming Kavanaugh forced himself on her. Her memory doesn’t include details and lacks many specifics, which makes the story impossible to fully investigate a week before Kavanaugh’s scheduled confirmation vote.

Now, we’re learning that Kavanaugh’s accuser’s attorney Debra Katz isn’t just an ordinary lawyer you might find in The Yellow Pages. This Washington, D.C.-based attorney is a partner at the firm Katz, Marshall, & Banks, and the Vice Chair of the Project on Government Oversight, which is funded by George Soros and his expansive Open Society Foundation financial support.

Kavanaugh's accuser and the curious George Soros links

quote
Look at what’s going on with Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation proceedings for the Supreme Court, and the fingerprints of George Soros are all over it.

First there was a report from June in the Daily Caller that found “a new political advocacy group that vowed to put $5 million behind an effort to stop … Kavanaugh’s confirmation has significant ties to the liberal financier” Soros.

What are those ties?

The group, Demand Justice, established in 2018, gets its money from the Sixteen Thirty Fund — and the Sixteen Thirty Fund received roughly $2.2 million from the Open Society Policy Center, one of Soros’ outlets, between the years of 2012 and 2016.

I noticed everyone got a nudge to the left on the ratings bar. It's about the only way I would ever be left of center.

There is one thing that has been puzzling me.

The left seems to be saying that men are predators and women should be believed.

So, here is my question: If Bill Cosby had had the same surgery as Bruce Jenner, would he still be going to prison?

I heard it from a very reliable anonymous source that Bruce Jenner sexually assaulted Caitlyn Jenner when they were in high school.

Are we taking bets on how tomorrow goes? If the tactic is to get Kavanaugh to drop out, it failed. Now I'm guessing it's delay tactics. Do you think Ford will show? Will her lawyers keep making demands?
