In 1910 the "Great Fire", also referred to as the "Big Burn," is believed to be the largest single fire in recorded U.S. history. It burned more than 3 million acres in Idaho, Montana and Washington — in all, a total area roughly the size of the state of Connecticut.
Was that due to "climate change"?
In Minnesota, the Cloquet Fire of 1918, claimed nearly 500 lives in a single day. 38 entire communities were burned to the ground, 250,000 acres were burned and 52,000 persons were injured and homeless.

In 1871, during the week of Oct. 8-14, Four of the worst fires in U.S. history all broke out in the same week across the region. This included "The Great Chicago Fire", which destroyed about a third of the city at the time and left more than 100,000 residents homeless.
Was that due to "climate change"?
