One of my favorite snacks is home fries

None of the premade frozen french fries.

Cut up some potatoes and put them in boiling oil.

Load with salt and snack away. Except Kim went and got me a bottle of Altuis brand. Damn. Dill pickle flavor on home fries.

I'm impressed

Tempura onion rings.
I never had any luck with home frys.
I have tried a few different ways, so far the best is baking them. That is how they are done in prison, no boiling oil for obvious reasons.

Home fries are the best, I cut rounds and fry em in a pan. Crispy outside-chewy inside. Try a can of you fav chili w a block of cream cheese in a small pot till they melt together. Super yums!

"Tzatziki" flavor in a spice bottle ?!

"Tzatziki sauce tastes like "dill pickles"????!

BLASPHEMY!

Makes me think of abominations from hell like this:

We all know that many people in this world are color blind.
I'm beginning to think that there might be just as many that are "taste blind".

Tzatziki is the yogurt sauce that is served with some foods, such as falafel and gyros.

It's kind of a middle eastern hush puppy.

edit: As a matter of fact, I just searched "middle eastern hush puppy" and falafel came right up.

YUP

I live 15 minutes away from one of the largest Greek communities in the U.S.; Tarpon Springs, Florida.

Old Greek families, fishing boats, sponge divers and some of the very best Greek restaurants anywhere.

They put Tzatziki sauce in their babies bottles........OK, I just made that up, but it's really fantastic stuff when you get the real thing.
