I am in heaven

I popped into a Goodwill store today just on a gamble, and walked out with a 39" Samsung smart TV for 40 bucks with no stand or remote.

I've GOT an LG stand at home and universal remotes are 8 bucks at Wally-world.

Sooo...an hour of modifying an LG stand to fit a Samsung TV, and my laptop is now set up like a docking station and I can work/ game on a 39" LED screen for under 50 bucks.

You guys should SEE the game play for "Neverwinter" on this thing !!!

Guess how I am spending my long weekend ???

I had a friend purchase a left handed mouse for much the same reason.

Goodwill and Thrift stores have always been a great source for tvs and other electronics. I got a replacement 20" Samsung tv for my garage at one...with a remote...for $20...and also used a 50% off coupon. It works perfectly. I also buy my work clothes there. Just stocked up with 50% Off Mondays with $1.50 jeans and .75 shirts. Actually ends up cheaper wearing them a couple of days and throwing away than washing them.
