Preview of the upcoming (August) new Henson movie themed for adults. Rated R, do not watch within earshot of others first.

I'm taken aback that Brian Henson would do a movie like this, knowing the values many of us have garnered from previous works, including Sesame street.

Other ventures showcase the ability of Henson productions in less kid-friendly manners, such as Labyrinth with David Bowie.

This is a completely different level. I do intend to see it, but still feel a sense of violation about the concept. Based on the trailer, I have no doubt to be very entertained, as well.

I think the saving grace here is that it does not contain any characters from the Muppets or Sesame Street. It appears they are all new puppets so if you didn't know it was Henson behind the scenes, it would just be another funny adult movie.

As one of the comments said, Sausage Fest all over again. :/

DISNEY Owns muppets and can do anything they want w/o approval from anyone else.
and Brian Henson is the Director.
And has none of Main characters from other movies and SS TV.

Another crap movie w/ Melissa McCarthy. I'm in no hurry to watch. Won't even pay $1 or less to get DVD at flea markets this summer.

Does anybody remember back in 1978 or 1979, an adult rated segment with x rated Muppets, that used to run durring Saturday Night Live, or another late night comedy sketch program.

Had a big talking Easter Island type head, and three or four other characters, kinda looked like rejects from The Dark Crystal movie.

It was all Brian Henson's creation.

x2. I just don't find her funny most of the time. And the muppet stuff was 50/50 - I'm just not into the "Silly string" type humor. or at least not 20+ seconds of it. *shrugs*
