Look at the drivers of these Uber cars. They have a large sticker on them to identify. Do you want these people flying?

Has anyone actually read that article?

No where did it say there would be Uber drivers flying.

This is Uber's second contract. This one is for research into what a "system" might offer and potential problems for NASA to consider.
