Yup.
Torches and most other things use Vapor not Liquid to operate.
Flipping most torches try to push liquid thru orifice design to control vapor.
Torch then runs very rich and even then can burn all the fuel properly.
Is why many plumber etc uses torches w/ hoses so tank sits right way up. Plus less strain to use them. More so when using Acetylene Air type because tank is very heavy even empty.
