ELP was inspirational, so heavy and elaborate, rich and intricate; the kind of thing you just had to really listen to. It demanded attention. It grabbed a hold of you and would not let you look away.

I had this on 8-track in my first car and played it a lot, but I haven't listened to it in a long time.

I have to credit this forum for my appreciation of Metallica. I never gave them a chance before seeing them posted here. I should have listened long ago. They really are good.
