I am uploading some of the 2000 records I have to youtube. Some get blocked but others live on. Take a look and listen. I am using an Adcom GTP-400 Preamp and a Technics SL-5200 turntable. I am running an Adcom GFA-535 amp and Bose 901 speakers for audio in house.
Almost all of them have been since removed by YouTube for violating rules or something. But the one that I was able to hear... I am super impressed with. I have a record player that has a digital converter build in (to USB) and it definitely doesn't sound that good. But yours sounds REALLY good... very impressed.

Thanks for the update. I have removed the ones that were blocked. I can still see them for some reason. Thank you for the kind words as well. I am really into vinyl so I try to have the best that I can afford to play them.

Must've been zapped by Youtube's seemingly random copyright enforcement.
I film and post videos of my friend's band, and a few others, at bars. I've had a few deleted too, totally at random. I even tried to get around it by removing all references to the song title and artist, and posting "for educational purposes only". I shot a band doing "Good Times Bad Times" and I just can't get that one to stick... I even changed the caption to say "they're just messing around jamming" and tried posting it at work instead of at home, to get a different IP address. No dice.... It seems to recognize the lyrics. But there are dozen of other videos of that song on Youtube... Totally random.
I have uploaded 20 videos so far and a bunch only lasted a few min. I would think that there would be some lost qulity but they still sound good in my book. I have more to list. At work now so will do that later. Thanks for the positive words and enjoy them.
What exactly are the rules for youtube? I see some people just put, "I do not own this" or something and it stays up, maybe you have to credit the artist and song, maybe you have to let them "monetize" it?

I too, have an extensive vinyl and tape collection that I enjoy. I've done some copying into digital format, the sound quality suffers as compared to the original. Jerry Garcia has a lot of material on High Definition Compact Disc that sounds good.
I just ordered the 3rd dethklok album. Wish I could afford the first one. goes for about 150.00 for it. I have it on CD but its not the same, Deathklok rules
FieroThomas, your in good company. I also have a large vinyl collection played on a Marantz 6100 turntable into a Marantz 2275 power unit and passed on to a pair of Bose 901 series II speakers. Original drivers. Seems like the later versions have a problem with drivers rotting out.
ps: Play a few of those large Laser Disc's once in a while too!!

Marantz Is some good stuff. My Speakers are also Bose 901. I had them all redone with new foam surroundings and they sound awesome. You can go wrong with 901's. Do you have the EQ for them as well? I don't but they still sound amazing. I am an Adcom juncky. I have always loved Adcom and have owned a piece here and there. This time I am doing an whole Adcom setup. I need to get an Adcom CD player next but the one I want goes for about 200 used and I just don't have that kind of money laying around to spend on it. I'll get some photos together of my setup and post them later. Its wrestelmania weekend so I am a bit tied up. lol.
