Actually, Stewmac has a fret calculator on their website.
Regarding the video, there are endless discussions of just intonation vs. equal temperament, just as there are those who argue that A should be 432.

Ya, I've heard some of those discussions. My regularly comments on some of the autoharp geeks and their 'discussions' about those two items.
I say, if it doesn't cost thousands of dollars, what's it matter if it is off by a few cents?

Shouldn't a cigar-box guitar, like most good blues instruments, be tuned to 420?

Regarding the sound clip, I liked what I heard.
I built something like that once, ended up an expensive non-working mouse trap. Congrats, I appreciate ideas that work.
