Its funny how that works, with just about everything.
1st a problem is new and overwheamling.
2nd its a challenge
3rd The same thing has become routine
4th its just boredom.
The same model can be applied to anything from cooking to flying to machine repair, and everything in between. Even speed and fast cars become boredom after a while, once you are used to that particular car. Or video games, I know a serious (competition-level for money) gamer and he is beyond tired of it. Dunno how many years/ hours it took to get there for him but it was a lot and now he just looks forward to when he can put the controller down.
