That's not far from her true story. She was Portuguese, representing Brazilian culture in the U.S.A. during a period of time when we were enamored of all things Cuban. The Brazilians were not amused. She died at the young age of 46.

One day, hopefully, they will learn that offensive things are part of life, and will be able to just go on with the important things in life.

Learning to deal with adversity, offensive people, unfair situations, etc, are the building blocks of character.
