HI all

I have a 2015 Sonic LT... 1.8 L 4cyl. What I have read about changing oil is that it takes 4.5 quarts. Last time I jus put the whole 5 guarts in, as someone I trust once said that 1/2 quart would be in the oil filter...

Is this trustable?

Engine lubricant oil capacity:

4.5 liter / 4.8 U.S. qt / 4 imp. qt

Gotta watch the liters/quarts on newer cars. Best to check the dipstick after running engine to confirm.
