I like to "lurk" on the various Democrat sites... like Democratic Underground, and places like that. I like to get a "pulse" for the crazy. I will caveat that sites like that are "extreme." If you aren't a devout Marxist... you will be crucified there. I've seen religious people who voted Hillary, but like Capitalism, just get crucified. But then, the Bernie people got crucified too because Hillary lost (like I said, it's a lot of fun to lurk).
In any case, there have been several dozen companies that have stated that their employees are all getting bonuses, or pay increases, whatever. Every company is now trying to get in as fast as they can before the break today so they can get mentioned on the news. Other companies... who's competitors are giving bonuses and raises to their employees, don't want to be undone and look bad, so they too are trying to get these things approved ASAP.
... this... the bonuses and pay increases, is absolutely... and I cannot express this enough, absolutely driving Democrats insane. Just, absolutely insane. They are beside themselves right now... unable to believe that this is happening. They are so angry, so delirious with pure fury and anger, that all they see is red on their monitors... and it's NOT because the analog VGA cable isn't plugged in properly. Their blood pressure is at or near boiling point due to the increased pressure.
Re-wording some of the comments, and translated from less offensive and neurotic babble, they are mad because: - They believe this is all PR, and don't understand how Trump was able to coordinate all this from all these companies. - They are upset because they fear it will encourage impressionable Democrats to reconsider capitalism. - They are worried that the economy will do really well before the 2018 elections. - They are saying anyone who accepts these bonuses and raises are traitors and greedy scum. - People will die (or something... it was like a Uhlanstan at his angriest, but as a Democrat)
... I cannot express this enough. The fervor out there is so insane, that I actually feel bad for them a little because I'm sure there are people having heart attacks as we speak due to the success this has had... and it hasn't even been implemented yet.

I distinctly remember many people on here back in 2008 telling us to eat a **** sandwich and learn to love it. I don't like to dish it... I mean, I'm not piling on. But it's kind of like the feeling I sense when my 8-year old daughter begins to realize that she's not going to get her way.
She is EXTREMELY determined, and that allows her to become defiant at times. If she can't win, she'll try to lawyer me, or socially engineer me to change my mind. When all of that has failed, she just kind of sits there and you can literally feel the energy / frustration build up in her, and sometimes she'll even have a tantrum. And I just have to tell her sometimes... "Look, you're not going to get your way. You have to learn to accept that." She can't, and that drives her nuts... so this is kind of the same feeling I get from the Dems right now.
Since you brought it up, I checked out Democrats Underground. I don't go to political websites, none of them but, it was interesting to say the least. What really bothers me is, these folks actually have the capability to post on the website and apparently, they breed.
Won't be long and we'll be overrun with them.............. Then, who's gonna pay for all the free stuff?

Last night its snowing like hell, minus 2 or 3, which is not bad for late December around here.
Some dude was out front on the benches in a shirt begging for change....a shirt, no coat.
I litterly took the parka off my back and gave it to the guy along with what I had in my wallet...like 15 bucks and change and a couple bus tickets to get around.
Know where I found that coat this morning ?...Out back by the dumpster with a pile of defication in it.

Two reasons -
1 - Intelligence gathering. Got to know what they're thinking, although calling it intelligence is lowering the standard quite a bit. Heck I'm even on a bunch of Liberal e-mail lists.
2 - Pure, unadulterated, humorous entertainment with a side order of schadenfreude. Especially right after one of Mr. Trump's controversial tweets. OMG hilarious.

I also routinely monitor the hard left websites and blogs for the same reason Ray stated; "intelligence" gathering. I put that in quotes because the term "intelligence" in relation to those websites and blogs is an oxymoron.
It's absolutely stunning watching those people get so wildly emotional and how easily they accept every rumor, innuendo, half-truth or outright lie as cause to get even more frantic.
I obviously can't foretell the future like Nostradamus supposedly did, but it was easy for me to predict many months ago that, as their attempts to get rid of President Trump failed one by one and as new conservative legislation gradually began to repair the leftist damage done to this country over the past 8 years, the left would become more and more angry and hysterical.
...and that isn't such a bad thing going into 2018 midterms. I want the left to continue to show the American people who and what they really are.
