Hello everyone,

I was wondering if you could help identify a vehicle seen in a 3 Stooges short.
The short was from 1937 entitled "Dizzy Doctors" https://vimeo.com/60991845
At the 7:28 mark Curly thumbs a ride and is picked up by a gentleman driving this 2 seater

Does anyone know what vehicle this is? Ny information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for all your help,
David

American Austin and American Bantam are essentially the same car. Austin later became Bantam. The most distinguishing feature in the movie frame above is the hood louvers. The later Bantam had fewer louvers. I think Bantams also had one piece windshields and a more rounded grill.
