Can't say he wasn't committed. I miss the days of riding those and an electric one down the abnormally long hallway to the loading dock.

Yeah, I envisioned a fire department pumper being used on an Antifa crowd or a bunch of looters wanting their free phone. Amusing, nonetheless.

I'm impressed that he got up again.

That's what I figured to. Protesters being hosed away seemed like something MEM would consider the proper use of a pump truck as.

Maybe that is a Canadian term. I would call that a pallet jack.
But, man! That had to hurt.

I've always heard them called a "pallet jack", 90% of our product came from Canada, I can't remember a driver ever calling them anything else.

I've never worked a job that's required me to load EXTREMELY heavy stuff onto a hydraulic tail gate, but I've seen it done a few times when I've had tile and other home materials delivered to my house. I'm always amazed how they can turn around the pallet jack on such a small piece of real estate. The guy obviously misjudged the distance. The fact that it catapulted him at all showed that he cared... because he was trying to use his weight to prevent it from going over, which in-turn caused him to go with the pallet jack. So... he screwed up, but not because he didn't care! That's worth something!

He didn't even get his hands out front to help break his landing. Looks like he was limping a bit as he walked out of the scene. No doubt his face needed some medical attention.

Funny...I googled it yesterday, and up popped pics of fuel delivery trucks. I google it today, and up come pallet jacks.
Google.

You wanna stop one in a hurry, you let the load drop to the floor. Instant achor. Hopefully before you hit or go over whatever you're trying to avoid.
