This one is private free stuff so is OK

Just found an app called "Text Now" (I have Android, not sure about iPhone) that give regular-quality phone calls over wifi. For some of the guys that pay by-the-minute or have long-distance charges, it will save you a fortune.

You will need to get a new phone number for the app, but its a 2-minute sign-up and they give you a local-area-code number. The neat part with this one is you can call land-line phones, or cell phones that DONT have it installed, works like regular cell service.

I installed it on Friday night, and SO FAR, no intrusive ads either.

We have someone that we know of that uses this type of service. That person is a heroin addict.

You often biatch about free shat, and then this example come forward.

My Moto phone used WIFI call anytime I have WIFI and no cell phone service. I just had to set it up, by entering my 911 address. And I set this up for some friends of mine who live on the southern shore of Lake Superior where they have WIFI and not Cell Phone connection.

There is nothing wrong with free stuff, per se. A problem exists when the government takes from some and gives it to others, free of charge and without warrant.

The problem isnt really the "free" stuff, Tony, Capitalism thrives on free bonuses, giveaways ect and communities run on charity and volunteers in a lot of ways..

The problem is the compulsion, being FORCED to give at gunpoint. Liberal/socialist governments are nothing more than robbers.

The second problem is when recipients get entitled and DEMAND, rather than being grateful to get something for free or next-to-it.
