Judy Collins had a hit with this Ian Tyson song in 1969 but Suzy Bogguss does it best. It almost brings me to tears:



I always loved the New Riders' version of this Rolling Stones song. That is Jerry Garcia on the pedal steel:



Bessie Smith made this Wesley Wilson song popular, but I like Billie Holiday's version best:

I have gone back and listened each day since posting them, I never get tired of it.

I have to admit, really didn't like the version of Wicked Game. Wasn't that good singing and really not pleasant.

But the cover (by Fear Factory, featuring Gary Numan) sounds badass.

Lots of "Animals" covers on this album (Sun Secrets.) As well as "Ring Of Fire" - which doesn't do a lot for me.
