Congresswoman Frederica Wilson of South Florida: Proof that the left knows no low.

------------------
Ron

Isn't it strange that after a bombing, everyone blames the bomber, his upbringing, his environment, his culture, his mental state but …
after a shooting, the problem is the gun....
Open your frigg'n minds, think about all the other tools that can be made into WMDs.

I sincerely hope that life is never discovered on another planet because, sure as hell Progressives and Socialists will want to send them money.

Much ado about nothing. Merely intentional misinterpretation of Trumps phrase.

Shes a typical liberal nut job. I dont know whats with all her multi colored sequin covered cowboy hats. Shes just a nosey busybody thats trying to make herself look like shes worthwhile. She might even be breaking a law listening to and repeating a private conversation without permission.

Their also looking pretty hard into the ambush the 4 soldiers were killed in. Ironic that they didnt give a damn about those in Benghazi...because it didnt work towards their agenda.

TO: President Trump

RE: Idea of using the news media to suggest that you invented, or at least revived the idea of using personal telephone calls as a way to offer condolences from the office of the President and Commander in Chief to the families and survivors of America's fallen service members, after eight years of a President (Obama) who was barely (if at all) concerned about these people (families and survivors.) Compared to you.

I don't think this is a good idea, unless you have some particularly effective way of firming up the credibility for this new line of attack on the character of your predecessor and psychological arch-nemesis (Obama). Don't try to sell this "turd" unless you are confident that you can really "polish it." No one will believe you except for the 38 percent who consistently register in the various polls as your "base". Because no one else is actually that base, as to be part of your base. (Ha--a pun. Hope you got it.)

If you try to put this idea into play, you will probably go on to say something about it that is unconvincing, like "I was told this about Obama by (unspecified) people" or "This is what (unspecified) people were saying about Obama after I won the election." No one outside of your base will believe you.

Of course, if all you want to do with this is to titillate your base... 'nuff said.

TO: White House Chief of Staff John Kelly

RE: Idea of attaching the derisive idiom of "empty barrel" to Congresswoman Wilson

You can't go wrong with this... unless you were to do something foolish and out-of-character for a retired, four-star Marine Corps General. Something like attributing some public statements to her that she made on a specific occasion some years ago, and then having a video of that occasion emerge and become part of news media reports, that reveal that she didn't actually say anything like that, when she was speaking publicly on that particular occasion.

It will look to most people that you are trying to "put words in her mouth." Most people outside of that base that registers at about 38 percent. But, if that's what you really want... 'nuff said.

TO: Congresswoman Frederica Wilson (D), Florida-24

Create at least one occasion when you are seen and video-recorded in public without "the hat."

Just for s**ts and giggles.

Yeah, sorry guy, no one reads your ruminations anymore.

Wading through all the extraneous textural doodads makes for painful reading.

If you want to tweak our noses, that's fine. However, please be concise.

Like this.

  1. Four U.S. soldiers are killed in Niger.
  2. The Secretary of Defense, James Mattis, makes some public references to this very unwelcome news.
  3. Thirteen days have elapsed since the U.S. soldiers were killed, and President Trump has not said anything about it, for public record.
  4. There is an event where President Trump takes a few questions from reporters, and a reporter puts a question to the President that is related to what happened in Niger.
  5. The President uses this moment to claim that he is particularly diligent about using telephone calls to offer his personal condolences (personal, and as the Commander In Chief) to the survivors and families of fallen service members.
  6. The President insinuates, in his typically meandering and read-between-his-lines kind of way, that he is more attentive to this task of offering his personal condolences, than was his predecessor, President Obama, during Obama's eight years in office.
Time out. Why was Trump using that moment to "take yet another shot" at President Obama? Does he really believe that he is more attentive to this very sensitive and rather sacred task, than was his predecessor in office? Is that a comparison that he could defend, if someone were to challenge him on it?

it's one thing to believe something. It's something else again, to be able to defend that belief. In this case, the best defense that Trump was able to muster was that this was something that "he was told" or something that "people were saying." Just how lame is that?

When it comes to "low", President Trump has not just reset that bar. It's like the new Ford F-150 truck commercials. President Trump is the bar.

[sarcasm]But let's keep the focus here on Congresswoman Wilson.[/sarcasm]

I am going to break this off right here. At least for the moment. Too many "extraneous textural doodads", again? I hope not.

I am happy in the direction that our country is heading under President Trump.

If you need to dress like a parrot to be heard... Like posted, Maxine Waters is the real threat.

I've done a little reading about the Congresswoman. She's really not all that bad of a person in general but, lacks a whole lot of good judgement in what is an appropriate thing to use in a political attack. And, that is precisely what this was. No doubt in my mind she is playing to her base. What she accuses President Trump of doing is a total reflection of her bias and apparent desire to score political points against the President at the expense of a soldier's family and their emotional health. Very sad.

Yes, indeed the textural doodads continue.

Your message is NOT more readable with the quote marks, bolds, parenthesis and italics.

Just say what you mean.

But I've told you this many time and yet you continue to clutter up your writings with grammatically incorrect sentences.

Almost like you don't what us to know exactly where you stand.

Oooops, I've said too much.

This is not a high school grammar class. Getting a point across here is all that matters. No one gets grades. I didnt give a crap about high school grades, and definitely dont care about them here. I think I might have done homework a dozen times in 3 years there. My time was too valuable to spend drawing sentence diagrams.

You really didn't need to say that roger. We had already surmised it. :

I don't want to get caught up in the weeds on this. I want to see these stinking politicians pass tax reform, healthcare reform, military investment, infrastructure investment, and get the government off the backs of the people that make our economy churn to spir growth and invest in the people of this country. I'm tired of this back biting nittly pittly bullshit. It's all to take focus off what we should be focused on. And BOTH sides are guilty of it. The way I see it it's all about them. Making the most political hay for their side. Whip the great unwashed into a frenzy and divide us enough to keep us under control. And in the end...get re elected. It's all about them and not us. That is why I despise the establishment. Why do you think these politicians hate Trump so MUCH? He's upsetting their little deal they have. Republicans and Democrats. Working together to keep us divided and get absolutely nothing done. These politicians are chums behind the scenes. And they are laughing at us. And all they way to the bank. **** them.

Hmmmm, I would have thought by now that my point was pretty clear.

If you want your opinion to be read and understood by other members you should leave out the extraneous doodads. They just clog up the page without adding anything to the author's thoughts.
