I just visited the DMZ and Seoul this past weekend. It was pretty creepy looking at the fake cities they have on the other side of the line. I also saw the massive flagpoles they built along with a few North Korean posts. We also explored the inside of Tunnel 3.
I have a lot of pictures I'll post when I get back to my laptop in a few weeks.
Draft all liberals/democrats and send them into NK. They like to destroy and kill things so let them have at it. Id even donate cash to help with shipping.
Another 3.4 quake detected by seismologists in the same spot that NK detonated a nuke earlier in the year. We learned not to do that many years ago, and now we have a blowtard doing this in modern times? I absolutely do not think we should nuke NK. It's leader should be prosecuted.
I wouldn't rule out North Korea working with any other world power. North Korea could have made a deal to get subs in the water without suspicion.
No doubt, that is a possibility.
China has put itself into an interesting position. They've supported NK during the Korean War and since then. It was great (for them) to have a small country that helped keep our attention and be a constant irritant to us. Reunification with a friendly US power could potentially put us at their door. Now, NK threatens to start WW III and it's not so funny. China most surely doesn't want that. They also don't want to do something that might allow the reunification of the Korea under a US friendly government so, they really can't let NK down, they can only use what little influence they have to back up enough to retain the status quo. With the Rocket Boy in charge, that hasn't been all that easy to do.
Rocket Boy thinks he can go it alone. I personally don't believe China will let him shoot a nuc at us cause if that happens, it's game on and we all know that won't be fun. Tough talk aside, this is very interesting and I hope my grand kids get to read about it.

Isn't it strange that after a bombing, everyone blames the bomber, his upbringing, his environment, his culture, his mental state but … after a shooting, the problem is the gun.... Open your frigg'n minds, think about all the other tools that can be made into WMDs.
I sincerely hope that life is never discovered on another planet because, sure as hell Progressives and Socialists will want to send them money.
Representatives of Kim Jong-un's regime are looking to have new, low-profile meetings with American political and foreign policy and national security experts in order to "better understand President Trump", according to a new report by the Washington Post.
The North Koreans want to meet with representatives of U.S.-based "think tanks" that are focused on Asia and the Pacific Rim, and that can also discuss issues from a distinctively Republican political perspective.
China takes care of China. When the South Koreans agreed to buy the THAAD missile system China made Chinese travel companies stop selling package tours to South Korea. They also started putting up trade barriers to South Korean car manufacturers with Chinese factories. Just a couple weeks ago one factory had to shutdown due to parts shortages.
That kind of petty BS goes on all the time with different countries if the Chinese government gets pissed off.
I prob buy a lot of chinese crap as do all of you. If you cut them off from trade, someone else...preferably American will take up the slack. That sounds like a win to me. On stuff I want to last, I dont even mind paying more from another country. Cheap throw away crap like t-shirts and socks are fine from China. Ive bought a lot of cheap throwaway tools that I didnt mind breaking or losing. I can just as easily buy the same things produced somewhere else. I think all asian brand cars are crap...no matter what reviews might say. Ill never own a Honda, Kia, Toyota, Hyundai...dont care if they have a million mile warranty and sell for $1000.

Trump knows that china is backing N.K. and Iran. and why the huge push to bring jobs and made in America, cut off the money flow that allows them to support these countries.. CHINA is backing N.K. plan and simple.. If American's were smart they stop buying china crap, boycotting them.. THIS IS!!! THE ONLY WAY N>K> stops. hurt China's economy. product doesn't sell off shelf, no need to order more, no reason for it to show up at our ports, within a 1/4 they get the message.
The softer side of Kim Jong Un. "Rocket Man" and "Mrs Rocket Man." North Korea's number one citizen visits a factory that makes cosmetic and beauty products for women and brings along his "better half." It's a rare public appearance for Kim's wife, Ri Sol Ju, who (according to South Korean sources) gave birth to the couple's third child in February.
I believe that North Korea's official government media outlet released this video of Kim Jong Un and his wife at a facility somewhere in North Korea where cosmetic and beauty products for women are created.
Does this video reveal a "softer side" to Kim Jong Un?
I think that qualifies as a news page writer's discretion. It could be interpreted as Intentional Irony. Especially when my effort here (an "effort" or whatever other word comes to mind for this) is not part of some larger context that I have created about North Korea or Kim Jong Un. Or about President Trump, for that matter. I have not ever said anything that is sizable, or anything in particular, about President Trump AND North Korea.
It could be perceived as a little joke, or prank. A forum member "bumps" a somewhat dated discussion to the top of the main forum page, using the excuse--the contrivance, if you will--of a small video report from CNN that is kind of an oddity. A report about Kim Jong Un that does not involve any direct invocation of the unresolved axes of diplo-econo-military tensions that characterize the relationship between North Korea and the United States.
"Unusual."

No.
Official government media outlet ? The propaganda machine ? Was it the ...
MSNBC, Main Stream No Broadcasting Credibility ? NY TIMES, Not Your Times ? WASHINGTON POST, the Washington Postmortem ? NBC, No Believable Coverage ? CNN, the Counterfeit News Network ?
Ask yourself a couple of honest questions. Answer them. What is the trade surplus of North Korean cosmetics ? Can north Korean women, or LBGTQ, citizens buy cosmetics from other countries ? If they could afford them.
If you believe the North Korean news ministry, and CNN, MSNBC, the NY Times, the Washington Post, NBC, ... I don't know what to say.
It is a sad day and yours are not going to get better.

That is the sum total of what I have said that I believe about all this.
I have not said anything whatsoever about what happens with these cosmetic and beauty products. Where they go after they are created. The trade surpluses or deficits. I have not said anything of that kind.
Do you think that this video was produced using a kind of Potemkin cosmetics factory? The equivalent of a theater construction that is nothing more than an elaborate prop used in the presentation of what is, in effect, a kind of stage play?
It's a possibility--a Potemkin cosmetics factory (~ Potemkin village)--but that seems far-fetched (IMO), even for a country that is as much of an oddity and an international outlier--a country that is "light years" distant from the center of the (conjectural) bell-shaped curve of distinguishable national parameters--as the Hermit Kingdom.
That's where I stand on this "issue."

It's a possibility ...
The Moon landing was fake. Produced on a Hollywood set.
What else does North Korea make besides cosmetics ? oh wait ... nuclear bombs and missiles.
While I am at it, ... his wife ? Where is the softer side of dumb frack and the history of his wife ? Is she a sex slave, a propaganda tool ? Our regime professes transparency, they outlaw it.

Did 'ga notice my header emoticon(?) ? A light, .
A picture is worth a thousand words.

KAWAGOE, Japan, Nov 5 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump ramped up his tough rhetoric against North Korea when he arrived in Japan on Sunday, saying that the United States and its allies are prepared to defend freedom and that "no dictator" should underestimate U.S. resolve. Trump kicked off a 12-day Asian trip and is looking to present a united front with Japan against North Korea through meetings with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe amid heightened tensions over Pyongyang's nuclear and missile tests. He told reporters on Air Force One en route to Asia that North Korea would figure prominently in discussions during the trip. He also singled out trade, which he said had been "badly handled" in the region for years.
