Earlier models had Chrysler Hemis, but the car pictured (one of the last) probably has a Volvo 4 banger.
The shah of Iran owned one, as did Pablo Picasso.

Didn't Suzuki make something like that in the early '90s?

Something like it yes. The Suzuki Samurai and the Sidekick. That's not what that is though. Nor is it the re-badged Sidekick Geo sold, the Tracker. Isuzu also made something similar called the Amigo.

Yup! Daihatsu Rocky.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daihatsu_Rocky I started thinking of monikers no longer sold here and Daihatsu popped into my head. I can't remember the last time I even thought of Daihatsu when thinking of cars before that.

The first is a Cord, probably a '36 model 810.
The second, I think it is a custom. Maybe a Merc? Around '49 or '50?
edit to say the second is a Packard. A funeral service "flower car", but I had to look for it, so technically, I cheated.
No one knows the French car? With the skinny girl? It's not
extremely rare at car shows. I have seen a few over the years.

I am so ashamed at myself for making you cheat,
. Let me give you an easier one,
.
One of my favorites.

You know, that car has something in common with the French car.
I would say that is about a '72 Vega.
One of the mechanics at my last job had a Vega, pearl white with a V6 from a Blazer.

That is almost certainly a Pininfarina body, and I believe that is a prancing horse on the side, so I am going to say a one-off 512.

Hint: It's a small wonder these were popular in Europe, and there was once a connection to Harley Davidson (can you hum that tune?)
another hint: The nickname of the company is in the above sentence (sort of). Don't look for the union label.

Yep. Bonus if you know the nickname and/or the tie-in to Harley. Both are hinted at in the first line of my post.

I believe this is a production car and not a concept.

You got it.
What's the nickname given to DKW, based on the initials?
(I imagine most Americans wouldn't know this)

well, that's little wonder, since it's a German car and wasn't sold in America.

I had to look that up. It appears that you are correct, with one extra 't' in the spelling. It is not the most attractive car I've seen.
It looks like an MR2 and a Mustang got drunk and did something they later regretted.
