2010 VW New Beetle with stock monsoon radio. Changed the car battery and the radio wouldn't work. Input the radio code per the manual but now you have to input the code everytime you start the car. Dealer says you need to remove the radio and do something; costs $135 !?

What the heck ?

I thought they would've addressed this problem by 2010, but hey...it's why some people make a point of hooking up auxiliary power to their car's system when changing the battery.

It's monsoon season again in Phoenix. Nothing to do with radio problems though.
