It is happening now. My Christmas dinner is non existent because of unexpected bills. Because I had to fork out more than what was thought, Ben gets little.

It seems to be what Bernie wants, whether he can see those eventualities, or just see his present emotions.

Socialism has the same problem healthcare and life insurance,
The only people who want it can't afford but need the use it. And
those who don't want it, don't want to pay for until they need it.

The only difference is those who can't afford it have no problem
enslaving those who (they believe) can. They think it's okay to demand
others change their lifestyle so they can keep the one they can not sustain
themselves.

Socialism is slavery of all, both the willing and unwilling.
The difference between capitalism and socialism - only one has the option
of changing employers. The other, quitting is a crime against the Government.
As much as I disagree with our current tax code, I at least could choose to
have no income and therefore no tax burden. oops, I forgot about ACA.
Even the jobless have a tax obligation.......

edit: seriously, I thought it was me (probably is) but I read re-read and re-re-read.
still didn't see the typos.....

Any time those in the upper 1% are asked to pay the same tax rate as those in low income jobs they scream socialism.

Dang,
I'm going to have to check my paycheck again. I had no idea I made enough to be a 1%.

OK, all you lower and middle class folks need to start bowing down.

I'm no expert on socialism so maybe everything you said is right. I'm sure that some of it is. Bernie is not a socialist though. He's a democratic socialist which I read to be a combination of capitalism and socialism. Our country is a combination of capitalism and socialism. If I had to choose between pure capitalism and pure socialism I would choose capitalism but both would suck on their own.

Yeah, and I am not a conservative either. (See I just said I wasn't, so that means I am not a conservative)

We already have a combination of capitalism and socialism. Bernie is a socialist and wants to tip the scale heavily twards socialism. You keep keep bringing up pure one or the other, as if we are pure capitalism or something.

I hear people complain about either Big Government or Big Business. What's the difference?
Coca-Cola won't show up at your door and demand you buy their product at gunpoint or pay a fine.

Have data for that?
Also is that all that Bernie plans?
Also just as an aside, I am not in in the upper 1%.

Or collect your income by force of law, to redistribute.
