I guess the people he confided into, some of them were using it as extortion against him... so he went public after paying out millions to keep it secret for the last 4 years.
I pray for him, I had a friend who had gotten HIV and it developed into AIDS.. it was not pretty. Of course, my friend was not a celebrity who could afford the best treatment, so its possible what i saw happen is not anything Charlie will likely face.

It can effect anyone, actually... not just drug users and the promiscuous. I'm at higher risk than most because I have to handle body waste and blood every day in my career.
