I originally saw most of those on Top Gear, but they just said they were all bad drivers, not necessarily women.
The argument was if you're not into cars, then you're not a good driver because you don't care - so you shouldn't be driving.
All of the wrecks were with "mundane" cars a non-enthusiast might drive.

I still want to know how the Skoda flipped trying to go through the gate.
