The other two symbols of the 20th century he didn't show are the Swaztika and the Hammer & Sickle I guess. Does this mean that the "O" represents as big of an evil as those did?

I believe he said he wasn't going to show them because of the horror those icons generated, or rather the people behind the icons, and it wouldn't be fair to the Obama Icon.
Funny thing is... I've been listening to that song for years. I hear so much music that some of it just gets lost in the "clutter". I never really paid attention to the band or the lyrics, until very recently. Sets ya' back in your seat for a minute.
