I don't know about how he does it, but I listen to Arizona Real Rock (98 KUPD), they are better than anything around here by at least 99 times.

I use the internet to stream them, it seems to work pretty good. I even get the news.

I used to live in Oxford, PA (about 10 minutes from the MD/PA state line on Rte 1) and listened to that station ALL the time for 9 years.... when I moved almost 2 years ago I started having withdrawels (im now 45mins north of my former location and cannot get the station on the radio) and would listen to www.98online.com over the net, when i'm working in the garage or in the driveway I listened to the philly stations, and they SUCK -and got fed up with them a few weeks ago and ran speaker wire under the crawlspace to my garage, wired it to a headphone plug and now when I go into the garage I plug it into the speaker jack of the computer and WHAM 98 rock in the garage streaming live from the computer

ah, mickey amelia and speigle in the morning

We are supposed to be in the chilly lower 70s today with a chance of rain on Saturday.
Snow is one of the reasons I live down here now.

Yes, speigle has his own flare that some do not like, his dragged out talking with a punchline makes me laugh, I prob wouldnt like him in person though, he fits in better with M&A better than he did with the previous people (both guys?) he worked with(11 years ago?) The music, I agree... try listening to Philly stations and you wont notice that on 98rock as much!

We only had a few snows close together that didnt total 6 or 8 inches for the whole season so far. We are expecting maybe 6+ inches before the weekend. Its been way colder than normal since Christmas though. I keep thinking just one more month................

Send some of that snow to Chicago. We had a decent storm on December 26 and some more in early January but very little since.

Of course the local media has treated it as 'the winter that wouldn't end!", just like they do every year. :rolleyes

Its especially nice if you like moving a lot. You get to be shook up, slide down hillsides, and ride flash floods, lol. And then throw in a few 20 mile wide fires.

Supposedly this one is supposed to miss us. At least that is what the weather person says.

Oh well, boring, and I just filled the gas tank on the plow truck.

Ice storms? no problem. I love how the trees make a canopy over the street and causes a crystal ceiling..... oh wait, there are no trees in Oklahoma.

However, if you like snow so much, you're welcome to come down here and shovel our driveway any time you'd like.
