So I watched Zombieland this morning before I left for class...All I can say is wow. What a good movie Highly recommend seeing it if you haven't already. Quite funny, not your typical zombie flick.

All I could think of was Don (maryjane) running around killing zombies Tallahassee kinda reminds me of you Done . 2 lines come to mind: Big truck, big guns, thank god for rednecks, and Snowballs? SNOWBALLS?! I HATE SNOWBALLS!!!!

Nagants are very plentiful and can apparently be had very cheaply. Buffalo Gun Center has crates upon crates of them for $75, last time I was there. These were brand new, original 60+ year old weapons, too.

Ya, I thought it was great too.

Loved the part when Woody joins up with whats his face on the highway, and they stop to watch a zombie eating a guy in the middle of the raod.
Woody makes some comment about waiting to move on until the zombie finishes his "manwich" hehehe

Most were arsenally refinished to like new condition before they went into storage, best buy for a great functioning bolt action rifle. The 7.62 X 54R falls somewhere between the .308 and .30/06, on top of that ammo is readily available for around $80 for 440 rounds in a sealed tin.

I recently picked up a PSL from Aim and love it, big boom, 10 round magazines, semi auto!

In most cases if you don't have a FFL or Collector's license of your own you go through a local dealer that has a FFL and then all the paperwork goes through them. Around here most gun dealers charge about $50 to do the paperwork and take delivery of the gun for you.

That's what I figured John--meaning the $80 rifle turns into a $130 rifle.

Guy here at Shooters charges $20 to do the transfer and background check, but even at $130 you can not beat it for a good bolt action centerfire rifle! Not to mention the cheap ammunition!

edited to add: Saw the movie in the theater and it was a hoot! No academy award winner but how much fun are they anyway.

I just finished watching Zombieland.

Favorite line? "That'll do Pig."

I thought it was a pretty good watch, funny, really gory, but it is a zombie movie after all.

Tons of FFL holders in OKC doing transfers for $10, must suck paying $50 a transfer. Speaking of which. I am buying one of those Mosins, now clue they were so cheap. Is that place reputable? Also I am working up a group buy on AR15 lowers. I am planning on buying atleast 10. I have found them for abou $90 each, but can get a better deal if I buy in bulk. I happen to know a class III arms dealer too, so hopefully he does my FFL for free.

Most bolt actions do--they don't siphon off part of the gas to drive the bolt back--it all goes to propel the round, resulting in a harder kick.

I wouldnt say it kicks hard... but the concussion (and how much louder it is) sure suprises you compared to the sks, the difference in kick if your holding it right is very little. you do have to hold down the front of the rifle if your using a bipod, or it kicks up about 3"
still haven't seen the movie, its been rented out here since its been out.

I just watched it last night.

I'm not a big horror fan, I've only watched the "Resident Evil" flicks because I have a crush on Milla Jovovich. But Zombieland was pretty cool! A bit gory at first, but noticeable less so as the movie progresses, which is kind of backwards for a horror film. I gotta say, I almost teared up a bit when the secret regarding Tallahassee's "puppy" was revealed.

Bill Murray's cameo was hilarious too!

Anyway, for the non horror watchers out there not sure if you want to watch it I'd say it was a great movie.

I've had a nagant for over a year. Dirt cheap for a decent bolt-action rifle. Even managed to score a 500 rd tin of Belgian overstock rounds for $35.

As for Zombieland, "your like a big **** -blocking robot developed in a secret ****ing government lab."
