Hey guys,

I'm part of a company called Ameriplan. They offer 3 different programs that offer discounts on health care, vision, dental, ancillary (labs, x-rays), and chiropractic. There's also a program that has savings for dining, shopping, recreation, etc. The last program offered is one that offers finanical advice, roadside assistance, legal advice, and more.

These range from $15 a month to $40 a month for everyone that lives in your house. It's pretty awesome. This isn't a scam because I'm also using these programs and it does work!
(Perfect for the college student like me, haha)

Visit http://www.mybenefitsplus.com/TPadvantage to find out more or PM me if you want to enroll in one of the programs. Thanks!

Thomas

Just a note--which may or may not apply to this company.

Before anyone buys any kind of health ins plan, they need to make dang sure the local physcians in their area recognize and accept that particular insurance. Do NOT take the insurance salesman's word for it--find out on your own.

carry on.

Don,

Thanks for mentioning that. Once you sign up, there's a place where you can go to look up which providers accept the plan. There are over 50,000 pharmacies including CVS, Walgreens, Wal-Mart. Some nationally known optical places such as Lenscrafters, Pearle Vision, Sears accept it. Also, over 30,000 dental providers and physicans nationwide.

If you or anyone else is interested, I can look up some providers for them in the area before you join so you know how much/who accepts the plan.

Keep in mind that it isn't insurance, but discounts that are offered as a member. I think it's a pretty cool deal and I've used it to get some prescriptions that would have cost me a fortune.

I have not personally been to a doctor or pharmacy in over 20 years, and I intend to go to a Dr only once more in my life.

Is there a Government Option or penalty of jail if we don't buy into the plan? (JOKE ONLY not an attempt to change the subject or hijack)

Sounds good (the plan) but since I am Military the already take care of me.

You're right and I fibbed. Once you're on the website, on the left side, there is a tab that allows you to select to view the providers in your area.

I recently got out the military and was looking for some coverage that didn't include tons of money like the Tricare programs were going to charge. This is a great program and it really has helped me out with my medical expenses. And NO there is no penalty or government option. I think this is better than Obama's option.

I'm not knocking the plan, but I just went through my wife's list of medication, and there is no savings on price on any of them.

Oh well, I it was worth checking out. I'm sure it may save someone some money.

Bump. I know people need this. It gives you and your family a piece of mind about healthcare and other services. No one wants to try it? You never know what you might find. p

its a scam... my mom got there so called card, and 99% of the discounts she got you can get without even needing this stupid card the only place it was even worth it was some cheap no name pharmacy when she went to get cough drops they gave her 5 cents off.
if you look this company up online they do the whole hooky spooky drink the purple koolaid and get rich stuff to the people who sell there product then rip them off in the end.
