The 4.9L Cadillac engine is a fairly easy swap; a lot easier than most. It will bolt up to the Fiero or a 4T60e transmission. Its light and fits the engine compartment well. Being a high torque engine at 275 ft lbs, it is a smooth road cruiser, reliable and will also get fairly good highway mileage. I can't say that it will satisfy all tastes but its a huge upgrade over the 2.8L and is fun to drive. It provides a fast launch and 0-60 time.
