This simple one piece of hardware allows the trans swap to work right. Two bolt install. You use your own cables.Works only no F40 transaxles. R.T.

Is this for the 2.0 ECOTEC with a F40? I picked up a LSJ the other day, and a month or so ago i snagged a ECOTEC F40 off a Saab. Was thinking about swapping out the F35 for the F40. Is this a straight up swap or is it a pain? Does your kit work with the 2.0/F40 swap? Thanks

Rob; this fix is for the transaxle.Whatever engine you use to put the F40 behind the bracket will do the job.The standard cables fit the freeends. The total lengths will be different then standard. What you will find is the splined hole in the trans is bigger on the F40 then the F23.That means your drive axles CV joints will have to be modified. But no sweat if you have someone in the neighborhood that works on CV joints and knows what parts to pick. The F40 is a very robust box.Oh and you will need mounting brackets for the F40 ,witch you can see in living color somewhere down the line here in the forum.I got you covered .R.T.
